Shirley Ghannam has been actively involved in architecture since 1977. After earning her architectural degrees from Lawrence Tech, Shirley acquired considerable expertise while employed at various high-profile architecture and design firms.

Since establishing arconcepts in 1992, Shirley has led Arconcepts with a focus on practical, client-driven design. Under her leadership, the firm has delivered complex planning and architectural solutions for long-standing clients including the Wayne County Airport Authority, Delta Air Lines, DFCU Financial and General Motors, building trusted long-term partnerships.

Drawing on her wealth of experience, Shirley prioritizes mentoring emerging professionals in the industry. She remains actively engaged in her community by serving on her local Township’s Planning Commission, serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for a prominent nationwide Credit Union, and supports local organizations such as Detroit Youth and Dog Rescue.
